100 Series Deviation Alarm



The Adtech Model DVA 112 100 Series Deviation Alarm accepts two standard process DC current/voltage signals and provides relay contact outputs

The DVA 112 accepts two similarly scaled inputs and provides two alarm outputs. Both alarms share the same setpoint adjustment but have different dead band adjustments.

The DVA 112 has a SPDT output per each setpoint rated at 10 amps; 30 VDC, or 250 VAC resistive. An optional DPDT output per setpoint is available when specifying option O49.

A 24 VDC at 35 mA output is provided as standard for powering a loop transmitter.

ADM-20

Amplitude Discriminator Module



The Adtech Model ADM 20 Amplitude Discriminator/High-Low Selector Module provides a single output that represents either the highest or lowest of 2,3, or 4 input signals. It utilizes precision comparator networks to provide a bumpless transition from signal to signal. Selection of high or low select operation is achieved by a single jumper selection. A Three input median signal selector is available when specifying option I27.

The ADM 20 delivers standard process current or voltage signals on the output with a maximum of 10 mV P/P output ripple.

AIM-37

Analog Integrator Module



The Adtech Model AIM 37 Analog Integration Module computes the analog integral of the input variable over periods of up to 2 hours.

In the AIM 37, the analog integrator provides a standard process voltage or current output proportional to the integrated input over a selected time period. Effectively, it averages the input over a preset period and updates the output after each period.

The integration time may be internally preset or controlled by an external reset contact.

FSM-55

Frequency Scaling Module



The Adtech Model FSM 55 Frequency Scaling Module converts or scales the pulse rate output of a wide variety of prime flow sensors to convenient engineering units for display on a totalizing counter. It can be used for such applications as turbine meters, positive displacement meters or speed measurements by magnetic pick-ups.

The FSM 55 solves scaling problems economically and accurately.

Two decades of scaling are standard. Four and six decades are optionally available when specifying options I 34 and I 35 respectively.

Gap Controller Module



The Adtech Model GCM 36 Gap Controller Module is used to stop oscillation in feedback control loops to reduce mechanical wearout of actuators.

Use of the GCM 36 can prevent actuator "hunting" in such applications as damper controls, combustion processes and extrusion pressure control.

Electronic Integrator/Totalizer



The Adtech Model LIT 56 Electronic Integrator/Totalizer converts linear analog inputs into a variable pulse rate output proportional to the input.

The unit handles all standard process voltage and current inputs and provides a 24 VDC pulse output capable of driving most electromechanical counters. A relay contact output can be provided when specifying Option O17. An optional voltage pulse output is also available for electronic counters.

Zero, rate, and drop-out controls are provided by infinite resolution multiturn potentiometers. Recalibration to other ranges is convenient via simple strap selection of output ranges and the adjustable drop-out feature.

MPF-650

Isolated Frequency to DC Transmitter



The Adtech Model MPF 650 Isolated Frequency to DC Transmitter converts absolute frequency or deviation of frequency into a linear DC signal such as 4-20 mA. It accepts a periodic waveform from a variety of primary sensors such as turbine meters, positive displacement meter contacts or a magnetic pickup and computes absolute frequency.

The MPF 650 has measurement techniques that produce essentially no ripple (less than 0.02% of range maximum), which eliminates aliasing problems.

The MPF 650 provides +12 VDC at 35 mA to power the sensor when specifying option O65. The use of this option will, however, negate the input to output isolation.

The output is a true current/voltage source.
